We tried to go to another restaurant for dinner, but because it was 8:30pm, a lot of restaurants in butte were closing. Thankfully, Bonanza Freeze is open late! There were quite a few people in line and the parking lot was full. We found out you can order online, but we were in line already and just stuck it out. They have a very large menu and I kind of wish it was more consolidated and easier to read, but I guess you can't really go wrong with burgers and shakes from here. I ordered the fried mushrooms, a cheeseburger and a cherry shake. Everything was delicious. It's fast food, so I wasn't expecting much. The burger isn't like the best burger I ever had, but it's like $5 and decent. The cherry shake was perfection. And the mushrooms were salty, crisp and hot. Good food and cheap prices. There are a few tables outside but we took our food back home to eat.
